My son and daughter-in-law have given me a beautiful little granddaughter. Update - SeptemI am proud to announce that I have just been blessed with my first grandchild. I have definitely had a lot of fun since joining Recipezaar. I recently participated in my first RSC contest. I also love participating in the great Zaar events like the tag games, recipe swaps, and Zaar World Tours. I especially like trying out new recipes and experimenting with both old and new recipes. I love to cook (and eat) a variety of foods from many different nations. My father was in the Air Force and my moher was Japanese. In this casserole version of the breakfast classic, biscuits are on top of the gravy instead of the other way around. I love to cook, bake, crochet, paint, sew, read and anything to do with crafts. I am a secretary for a county school board. Whisk eggs and milk with a pinch of salt and pepper. sausage A handful of garlic cloves 8-10, chopped (to taste) Red pepper flakes (to taste) 2. Use a wooden spoon to break the sausage into small pieces as it cooks. Crumble the sausage in a skillet and cook over medium-high heat until no longer pink (about 5-7 minutes). Scatter the browned sausage over the biscuit pieces. Ingredients: Ultimate Biscuit and Gravy Breakfast Bake 2 lbs. Spray a 3-quart baking dish with cooking spray and set aside. Cut biscuit dough into 1' pieces, and line the bottom of the pan. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly cook 2 minutes. Take a 13x9-in pan and spray with cooking spray (or smear with butter). Gradually whisk in milk, salt, and pepper. Cut the 16.3 ounce can biscuits into 8 pieces and layer them into the bottom of the casserole dish. Cook sausage in canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 8 minutes or until crumbly and no longer pink remove from skillet, and drain. Pour mixture into a 9 x 13 pan evenly and place in preheated oven, 350. Add in the scallions, cheddar cheese, and cooked sausage/bacon. Nothing will ever replace Maxx, but she has helped to uplift Suki's spirit. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray, set aside. Cut each individual biscuit into quarters and drop into the egg mixture. Suki and I both needed a new companion to help us cope with our loss. In a large bowl, beat together the eggs and milk with a whisk. Sprinkle cup of the shredded cheese over the sausage. I currently live in the country with two dogs (a 12 pound poodle mix named Suki and a new member to the family, a 7-month old(?) 7.5 pound terrier mix named Angel ). Spread the sausage pieces over the biscuits. Until we meet again, sweet boy, you will be forever in my heart and memories. Maxx was the best dog that anyone could ever hope to have in their life. Remove from the oven and allow to cool just slightly before cutting into 6 squares.Update: I have changed my profile picture in honor of my dear best friend and loyal companion that I lost to cancer on 6/25/11.Pour another cup of the gravy over the top of it all and place the dish into the oven to bake for 30-45 minutes or until the middle is set and the edges are starting to brown.of the gravy over the biscuit dough, followed by the egg and cheese mixture.
